Comprehensive BRACAnalysis®
Comprehensive BRACAnalysis® tests for mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes associated with hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC) syndrome. Choose your test result below:
My result is negative ("No mutation detected" or "Favor polymorphism")
My result is uncertain ("Genetic change of uncertain significance")
My result is positive ("Positive for a deleterious mutation" or "Suspected deleterious")
Single Site BRACAnalysis®
When a gene mutation has been previously identified in another family member, this test will examine a small portion of the DNA for that specific mutation only. Possible results include:
My result is negative ("No mutation detected")
My result is positive ("Positive for a deleterious mutation")
Multisite 3 BRACAnalysis®
Multisite 3 BRACAnalysis® tests for the three most common mutations found in people of Ashkenazi, or Eastern European Jewish, ancestry. Possible results include:
My result is negative ("No mutation detected")
My result is positive ("Positive for a deleterious mutation")
